Journeying with Restraints. A Triptych for Solo Voice (2008)

Commissioned by Liverpool Culture Company and Kulturamt der Stadt Koeln for the official opening of European Capital of Culture 2008. Performed at Rathaus Koeln and Gustav Adolfs Kyrka, Liverpool having been inspired by the expansive spaces of Cologne’s Romanesque churches and most particularly the Plague Crucifix of the church of St Maria im Kapitol.
